Presentation and tasting of wines
TRASCAMPANAS
VERDEJO 100%
TRASCAMPANAS is born thanks to our wineyards, located in the core of the town of Rueda, and to the rich sole watered by the River Duero.
Our wine is elaborated with a grape which is picked under the moon, as the texture of the verdejo grapes skin is more compressed, boosting the aromatic features of our wine.
The wines are elaborated following a criomaceration process of the skins in order to obtain the greatest potencial of primary bouquets, guaranteeing finally the complete wine conservation. It is a unique and exclusive variety of the local verdejo grape, under el Consejo Regulador de D.O. Rueda (Regulating Body), which certifies its quality and origin.
Therefore, TRASCAMPANAS is a pure 100% verdejo, with a wide range of straw-coloured yellow sprinkled with green tones.
Considering the aromatic terms, this wine could be defined as a mixture between exotic and spicy features, finding step by step the delicacy of the grapefruit grated rind, the pineapple freshness, as well as the invigorating notes of the fennel seeds.
TRASCAMPANAS is not only a wine, is a elixir of elements that can be drunk as a appetizer or during any meal.
This wine should be served between 6 to 8º C.

POLIGONO10
VERDEJO 100 %
In order to identify a portion of land we have to be based on the cartography and thus, we have wanted to name this wine to which we denominate POLIGONO 10 (cartographic term for the portion of land where it has its origin)
If we want to decipher the hieroglyphic and arrive at the exact point of the names´s identity we must approach the municipality of Rueda in Valladolid where its cartography provides us with 20 polygons that integrate the municipal term.
Once you arrive to this extension denominated “Valdelamoza valley” we find with a carpet of Verdejo vineyards that comb the ondulations of the ground, the molded land allows us to play with the position to take advantage of every minute of light, and in order that the sun puts the golden colour to these long blond hairs, fruit from where we will obtain the sweet nectar of the variety, that will give character to its wines.
Some notions of tasting to emphasize its organoleptic properties.
The yellow-greenish colours praise the sparkles of its luminosity.
The fresh, fragant bouquet, a touch of green confitery, the citrics, some papaya, caressed by the reminiscence of some acacia white flower.
The varietal identity, comes from the soil, and the variety, always accompanied by the surroundings where it was cultivated (in polygon 10), highlights the taste of fruits in the mouth, the glyceric character that brings volume, and the bitter end that enhances its flavour.

MONSALVE
VERDEJO 100%
MONSALVE receives its name due to the surname, well-known over the years by elaborating Rueda white wine.
For the elaboration of the white wine, we only use the verdejo variety. Harvesting is done at night to get smooth skin of the grape due to the cooler temperature at this time of the day.
The white wines, made of 100% verdejo, are of a straw-colored yellow with distinguished bright tone.
When a wine melts itself in perfume, this could define a verdejo, a symphony of aromatic freshness as the pineapple juice or the grapefruit pulp, seasoned with tender fennels stalks. ,
On the palate solid, considering the presence of sweet tannins and complemented with fruity and dry notes.
This wine should be served between 6 to 8º C.
BADAJO
VERDEJO 100 %
Bells ring in our lady of Assumption church, patroness of Rueda, to announce the birth of a new Verdejo engendered in “Carro de Santa María” wine state and iluminated with the first rays of light of the month of September for in this way, conserve the colour of the tears of first dew in the morning.
This 100% Verdejo shows itself radiating in its yellow-greenish aspect: the aromatic phase is fanned by the freshness of a trace of lemon.
The taste will not pass unnoticed because it is the race of great wines to have volume, to satisfy the thirst and to refresh the soul: leaving as identity that bitter final, that personalizes the greatness of the variety “Verdejo”.
